Our climate in New Hampshire is moving northward 30 feet a day (2 miles a year) due to human activities, mainly the burning of fossil fuels around the globe. Fundamental chemical and physical properties that local plants, animals, and infrastructure rely on are changing in ways that we can not undo. As the Biden Administration considers policy options to address climate change, considerations of effectiveness, equity, political viability, and global reach are of primary concern.

Saving Our Democracy with Olivia Zink
Money-in-politics, voting rights, redistricting, and/or other democracy reform legislation are moving in Concord and Washington DC. Come learn about the good and bad of these bills and what actions you can take to make a difference.
Olivia Zink is the Executive Director of Open Democracy Action, a non-partisan pro voter organization. Olivia is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Sustainable Living, and a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a master’s degree in Community Economic Development. She is currently serving as the Interim Mayor in the City of Franklin.

Executive Councilor Cinde Warmington shared the major issues facing the Executive Council from her perspective as the ONLY Democratic member of the Council. She included a discussion of the current attack on public education happening in Concord.
Cinde Warmington is a health care advocate and Executive Councilor for District 2, which includes 49 communities from Keene and Cheshire County in the west, to Dover, Durham, and Strafford County in the east. On the Executive Council, Cinde is committed to lowering barriers to quality health care, protecting fundamental rights including reproductive rights and voting rights, and ensuring a quality public education for every child in our state.
