📚 Book Clubs
Our book club gatherings bring people together for thoughtful conversation and a sense of community. Everyone is welcome—whether you've read the book or just want to enjoy friendly discussion with fellow readers and neighbors. 🍹🎭 Happy Hours and Special Events The Windems host happy hours to bring people together. We also plan festive events, like Mardi Gras Night, to raise community spirit. Events are filled with laughter, food, drinks, games, and mostly fun and conversation. 🍉 Annual Summer Social Each August, the Windems host a summer gathering to bring together our local Democratic community before the busy fall season. In election years, the event features candidates running for local, state, and national offices. During off years, the gathering is more relaxed—though candidates may still stop by to meet and connect with the community. Whether it’s an election year or not, the focus is always on good food, great conversation, and meaningful connections. 🎉 Annual Holiday Party Every December the Windems host a holiday party to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future. The night is filled with great food, warm conversations, and a shared sense of purpose. The night is about reconnecting, recharging, and getting inspired for what's next. 🦞 Annual Clam Bake (and lobster) Rockingham County Dems host an annual clam bake every spring. It brings together Democrats, activists, and community leaders for an evening of great food, powerful connections, and a shared commitment to electing Democrats and fighting for hardworking families. Tickets support critical grassroots organizing—helping town committees, candidates, and volunteers build the relationships that will win elections and defend our values at every level of government. |
