  We need volunteers on Primary Day at the High School to greet voters between 7am and 7pm. There will be a table and tent and volunteers are needed for 2-hour time slots throughout the day. Click below to review the open slots and sign up.

Greet Voters on Primary Day

• CANVASS / KNOCK ON DOORS - EVERY WEEKEND​
  Canvassing is the most effective way to persuade independents to vote Democratic and get Democratic voters to the polls. Organize New Hampshire Coordinated Campaign is working with Democratic Town Committees across the state organizing and leading canvassing efforts. Currently they are organizing canvassing activities on Saturday and Sunday and have three sessions (10AM, 12 and 2PM) each day. They expect to add additional days to canvass after Labor Day.

At the canvassing meeting place, 84 Millville Street in Salem, you will be provided:

• Training including a list of Do's and Don't’s and a script for you to interact with voters.
• Literature for Democratic candidates including Kamala Harris and after the primaries for the winning candidate for NH 2nd Congressional District and NH Governor. They will also have a Windham Candidate slate card that we are preparing for them.
• A Windham map along with a list of names and addresses for you to contact. The list will have either registered democrats or independents who lean democratic. You will have to download the Minivan application to access this information. People will be available to help you.
• A partner if you would like to be paired with someone or bring your own partner with you.

​SEPTEMBER EVENTS

• PHONE BANK - MID-SEPTEMBER
  After canvassing, phone calls to perspective voters is the most effective activity to persuade voters. In mid-September we will hold a brief meeting to provide a phone call script, which is essentially the same as the canvassing script, and a link to a list with names and phone numbers. Using the link, you will be able to make phone calls from the comfort of your home. Watch for more information to come about Phone Banking.

​OCTOBER EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

• POST CARD SOCIAL
  This is a fun, social event so join us! We will hold a Potluck Post Card Social in the Windham Senior Center.  At our last Post Card Social 25 people signed over 2000 post cards while enjoying a “smorgasbord” of dishes and desserts. Stay tuned for more details. You don't want to miss this!
• CANDIDATES NIGHT
  The Woman’s Service Club of Windham will sponsor Candidates Night in mid-October. We want to show our support for our candidates so showing up matters. We'll send out a notice with details as we get closer to the date so you can come and show your support.
• SIGN HOLDING - 2 Weeks prior to the Election and Election Day
  JOIN US! Visibility is important. We will gather to hold signs at various locations around Windham.  As we get closer, you'll receive information about the times and locations.

​ONGOING ACTIVITIES

• LETTER WRITING
  Starting after Labor Day, we will be submitting articles weekly to local papers. Topics will include education funding and vouchers, local taxes, reproductive rights, voting rights, and more. • HOUSE PARTIES

• YARD SIGNS
  After the primaries, we will have signs available. Please show your support for Democratic candidates with yard signs! Once signs are available, we'll send out an online form for you to indicate the candidate signs that you would like.

ELECTION DAY - November 5th
