Learn about Carolyn
Background:
Carolyn was born and raised in Malden, MA but has strong ties to NH. Her ancestors settled in NH in 1674 and she has had family here since that time. Her grandfather built a cottage in the Community Beach area of Cobbetts Pond in 1930. She grew up as a “summer kid” on the pond becoming a full time resident in the early 1970’s.
She is a graduate of Northeastern University. She recently retired from Lowell General Hospital where she worked as Supervisor of Clinical Microbiology/ Pathology. She has been a supervisor in hospital settings for over thirty years.
Years of Public Service:
Carolyn has had the honor of serving on many boards and committees in Windham. She worked diligently for six consecutive years as a member of the Board of Selectman and was recently elected to the position of Library Trustee. Now she would like to volunteer in a different capacity, one that would allow her to be part of a larger team and represent a broader area. She feels that being elected as your State Representative will be challenging but her past actions as Selectman and her expertise as a manager will serve as examples of her abilities.
Her Platform:
Special areas of interest to her are the preservation of Rockingham Park and the expansion of commuter rail service to Salem. Both of these would be of great benefit to both Salem and Windham. Furthermore, she believes that Democrats and Republicans should work together for the good of the people and the environment.
Ms. Webber believes that she needs six more votes to be elected this year as she lost by that number two years ago. If you feel that she should be one of your thirteen State Reps, please call six of your friends and ask them to vote for Carolyn to help her get the winning number. You will not be disappointed.
It is her intent to introduce herself to the citizens in various neighborhoods in both Salem and Windham.
Consider her for one of your thirteen state reps.
Thank you for your consideration.
Carolyn B. Webber
